The 61st Cannes Film Festival

Today, Wednesday 14th May 2008 is the opening ceremony of the most prestigious film festival; The 61st Cannes Film Festival, since its founded in 1939; held at the Palais des Festivals et des Congres, Cannes, one of the French Riviera’s cities.
More than twenty films are participated in this event to grab the Palme d’Or - Golden Palm (the prize for the best film). Below are the lists of the films:

Sean Penn is the jury head at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival, who will determines the prizes for the features in competition of the followings: Palme d’Or, Grand Prix, Best Director’s Award, Jury Prize, Best Screenplay Award, Best Actress Award, Best Actor Award, along with the jury team member.
