The Fact: Loud Music and DrunkBeware of loud music if you are frequently going to bar or discotheque. The louder the music, the faster you are drinking. It was the conclusion of the researchers from Southern Brittany University, as quoted in Reutershealth.

The researchers cooperated with the owner of two bars in Paris conducting the research on 40 men ranging from 18 to 25 years old who comes to the bar. They didn’t tell the visitor about the research. They controlled the music volume from the DJ station, and the visitors did not know that they were being observed. The result shows that the loud music sound provokes the bar visitors to drink alcohol three minutes faster than the visitors with the soft sound.

The reason for this phenomenon is the loud music made the bar visitors difficult to have even just a little talk with other visitors. That’s why the bar visitors tend to have a lot of drinks than to talk each other.
