Switch for Friend

I have a new cyber friend from mIRC chat room, but actually he was studied in the same university with me, just in the different faculty, and we don’t know each other until the day we chat. He was registered in Engineering Faculty while I was a student of Mathematic and Natural Science Faculty.

He is working for one of the world’s leading pulp & paper companies right now. He has been working in Maintenance Department since 2006 in that company. He told me that it is a job he dreaming about since he was in senior high school, and then he decided to majoring mechanical engineering when he studied in the university.

We chat a lot frequently. He told me about his job as a maintenance technician, the happiness and the sadness. He often to do some maintenance job like replacing a broken flow switch in the digester tank, repairing many level switch, temperature switch that are out of order, etc, and many times he had to order many switches by himself. Then I told him about Compac Engineering Inc., so he can do online purchasing, and reduce time in works.

The Increasing of Crude Oil Price Lead to Crisis

The price of crude oil that reaches US$ 117 per barrel caused the government worried about the fuel oil subsidies increasing.
This problem needs a serious concern, as nowadays the users of non-subsidized fuel tend to change to subsidized fuel.
The rich are not embarrassed to pursue the subsidized fuel. What a shame!

Since the Pertamax price increased on April 15, the Pertamax demand was descended. According to the Pertamina data, the descent in Pertamax consumption for the last three months reached 30 percent or was equal 400 kilolitres per the day. This case triggered the concern of the fuel subsidy. For now, the government still waits for the stable situation till next July.

The economists considered that the prices difference of the subsidized fuel with non-subsidized one could not be hold out. The staged rise of subsidized fuel price is considered as one of the ways out.

For you know, the fuel subsidy in APBN The Changing 2008 reaches to number of more than Rp 126 trillion, with assumption the oil price is US$ 95 per barrel. In addition, the electricity subsidy reaches Rp 60 trillion a month. Ironically, the food subsidy for poor citizen was only Rp 47 trillion.

Alcohol Problems

The overuse or abuse of alcohol or other drugs is  often happened to music people. It is common, costly, and associated with many medical problems.

A person has an alcohol use problem if he or she continues to drink even though alcohol is interfering with his or her or daily living. Alcoholism is defined as a physical or psychological dependence on alcohol.

Alcohol abuse patterns vary. Some people get drunk every day. Some drink amounts of alcohol at specific times, such as weekends. Others may be for long periods and then go on drinking binges that last for weeks or months.

For you know that long-term heavy drinking causes liver, nerve, heart, and brain damage; high blood pressure; stomach problems; sexual problems; and cancer. Alcohol abuse can also lead to violence, accidents, social isolation, and difficulties at work, at home, or with the law.
For older adults, it is especially important to remember that:
•Alcohol slows brain activity.
•Alcohol impairs mental alertness, memory, judgment, physical coordination, and reaction time.
•Heavy alcohol use can lead to loss of employment, friends, and loved ones.
•As a person gets older, it takes the body longer to break down alcohol, and the body’s tolerance for alcohol decreases. Drinking the same amount that you drank 20 years ago can cause a lot more damage.
•Alcohol can make existing medical problems worse.
•Tranquilizers, barbiturates, certain painkillers, and antihistamines all increase the intoxicating effect of alcohol.
•Alcohol interferes with the medical benefits of many drugs, including anticonvulsants, anticoagulants, and diabetes medications.
Signs that a person is dependent on alcohol include blackouts, drinking more and more for the same “high,” and being uncomfortable in situations where alcohol isn’t served. A person with alcoholism may gulp or sneak drinks, drink alone or early in the morning, and suffer from the shakes.
A person whose body is dependent on alcohol may suffer serious withdrawal symptoms (such as trembling, hallucinations, sweating, and seizures) if he or she suddenly quits drinking alcohol or tries to reduce his or her alcohol intake. Once alcohol dependency develops, it is very difficult for a person to stop drinking without outside help. Medical detoxification may be needed.

There is no advantages of consuming alcohol at all. Say no to alcohol.

New York City Tour and Sightseeing

New York is also known as The Big Apple city, is a home for the Fortune 500 companies. As a center for many industries, New York is the main economic center in the country and one of the world’s important cities for fashion, music, culture, and of course, for finance.

New York City (NYC) is not only the city for industrialist, but is a tourism destination also, as there are many landmark, art and galleries, museum, etc. Some enormous works in NYC are Statue of Liberty, Brooklyn Bridge, Central Park, Times Square, Lincoln Center, Rockefeller Plaza, The UN office, Empire State Building, WTC Site, New York Stock Exchange, etc.

I’m sure you ever heard about Broadway, even at once. Who do not know it? Broadway is an art community which productively perform their creation. It is one of the known NYC attractions for the tourist. The popularity of Broadway is already heard all around the world. I suggest you to plan of having tours and sightseeing in NYC soon.
