Nutrition is a great place to focus your efforts on staying healthy. In fact, what you eat has a drastic effect on your pregnancy and dictates how you feel and how well your body finds the harmony of pregnancy. For example, anemia can be tied to your diet.

Women who do not gain enough weight or who have poor diets are more likely to have pregnancy problems. Babies born to these women also have many medical issues. A baby can be born too early and with a greater risk of early death if the mother doesn’t eat well in pregnancy. This makes nutrition an important
aspect of a pregnant woman’s health.
